Evolution Hospitality Taps William Loughran for SVP/Ops

SAN CLEMENTE, CA—Evolution Hospitality has tapped William Loughran, former president of Richfield Hospitality, as its SVP/operations.

Loughran began his hospitality career with Marriott International, where he held leadership roles in operations, sales, marketing and revenue management for more than 17 years. He then spent five years at Sage Hospitality as VP/revenue. In 2011 he transitioned to Sceptre Hospitality and led the sales, revenue management and e-commerce disciplines for both Sceptre and Richfield Hospitality. He led Richfield Hospitality as president beginning in 2014.

Loughran will report to President John Murphy.

Privately held Evolution Hospitality’s portfolio includes a variety of properties, such as the San Mateo Marriott, Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco, Hotel Adagio-An Autograph Collection Hotel, Hotel MdR-A DoubleTree by Hilton in Marina del Rey, Warner Center Marriott, Hilton Long Beach, Hilton San Diego Mission Valley, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, Miramonte Resort & Spa and the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA.
