Eric Foley Appointed General Manager of Refinery Hotel

NEW YORK—Refinery Hotel, the former high-end millinery factory turned industrial-chic luxury hotel located in the Garment District here, has appointed Eric Foley as general manager.

Foley has more than 15 years of hospitality experience, including eight years at the executive level. Having most recently held the position of assistant general manager at The Row NYC, Foley comes to Refinery Hotel with a vast knowledge of the New York City landscape and traveler, according to the hotel.

Prior to his time at The Row, Foley spent 10 years of his career with the Denihan Hospitality Group, where he served as an integral of the pre-opening task force at The Surrey Hotel NYC, and later became the director of rooms. Previously, Foley held the position as guest service agent at Affinia Manhattan and rooms division manager at Affinia Chicago.   

In this new role, Foley will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of management and operations, including oversight of staff, recruitment and development, training, scheduling, preparation of annual budgets and guest satisfaction.

“After 15 years in the hospitality industry, this is an exciting new chapter for me, and I am extremely honored to join such a historic and renowned property,” Foley said. “Refinery Hotel is dedicated to providing the best guest experience, and I look forward to continuing such a strong legacy of impeccable service.”
