MEMPHIS, TN—The 220-suite Embassy Suites hotel here has officially started a $7-million renovation, expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2015. It will consist of a new lobby, atrium, guestrooms and an additional board room. The hotel’s on-site restaurant, Frank Grisanti’s Restaurant, will also undergo a major upgrade.
The entire original lobby atrium is being transformed into a more social space. According to the company, the atrium refresh will reflect Embassy Suites’ vision of modern, interactive living spaces, which will be unique to the Memphis marketplace. Guestrooms will also be addressed in this effort.
The hotel remains open to guests. Located in the Poplar/Germantown area, Embassy Suites Memphis is owned by a partnership led by Lodging Capital Partners, LLC based in Chicago, IL, and managed by Hilton Worldwide.
