Embassy Suites Launched In DC

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The new 384-suite Embassy Suites Hotel Washington, D.C./Convention Center has opened here. The hotel is owned by the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). Located near the new Washington Convention Center, the hotel features 6,500 square feet of meeting space and a restaurant, Finn and Porter. Additional amenities include an indoor pool; whirlpool; business center; fitness center; complimentary full breakfast, and a manager’s reception each evening. The property’s two-room suites have high-speed Internet access; two dual-line phones with data port modems; a wet bar, refrigerator, and microwave; in-room safe; and an iron and ironing board.
