NEW YORK—Dream Hotel Group has appointed Karan Narang as its senior director of acquisition & development analysis. With nearly 10 years of experience in hospitality acquisitions, dispositions, development and asset management, Narang will play an integral role in the continued growth strategy and expansion of Dream Hotel Group, according to the company.
Narang joins Dream Hotel Group from Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) where he served as director of acquisitions and financial analysis for nearly six years. At HVMG, Narang served a key role in supporting the groups’ growth strategy that included both acquisitions and third-party management contracts. Narang was responsible for developing comprehensive financial models to evaluate business opportunities that includes due diligence research, creating investor briefings and market analysis.
Prior to joining HVMG, Narang served as a director for Lodgian Inc. where he oversaw financial management and analysis functions for Lodgian’s portfolio as well as its development and investor relation teams. Narang also served as director real estate, strategy & hospitality advisory for New York-based FTI Schonbraun McCann Group, where he gained invaluable experience in hospitality consulting.
