ROCKLAND, MA—The 127-room DoubleTree by Hilton Boston-Rockland has opened in the South Shore area of Massachusetts following a multimillion-dollar renovation. Formerly a Holiday Inn, the hotel is owned and managed by Linchris Hotel Corporation.
Located 21 miles south of Boston Logan International Airport near Interstate 93, the hotel is close to Nantasket Beach, as well as a number of universities and company headquarters. Extensive renovations to the five-story hotel have transformed the lobby and fully updated guest rooms with a sleek, modern design complemented by all-new furnishings, according to the brand.
“The South Shore is a hub of leisure and business activity, making it a great location for this new addition to our DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio of hotels,” said Dianna Vaughan, SVP and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton.
The guestrooms feature the DoubleTree Sweet Dreams Sleep Experience with either a king-sized bed or two queen beds, plus amenities such as a 47-inch HDTV, coffeemaker and safe. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in each guestroom and suite, as well as in public areas.
Dining options include Conrad’s Bar & Grill, which features American cuisine for breakfast, and dinner, and 24-hour room service. Additionally, the hotel provides a 24-hour fitness center featuring Precor equipment; a 24-hour business center; the only outdoor heated pool in Rockland, according to the brand; and complimentary parking that surrounds the building.
DoubleTree by Hilton Boston-Rockland also offers nearly 4,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including the Regency Grand Ballroom.
