MCLEAN, VA—The DoubleTree by Hilton Sighisoara–Cavaler has opened in Sighisoara, Romania, marking the brand’s debut in Sighisoara and the sixth property in its portfolio in Romania.
The property joins 70 other DoubleTree by Hilton properties open across Europe. The refurbished, upscale hotel features 74 modern guestrooms, including suites and loft rooms.
Dining options include the Terasa Domnitei restaurant; snacks and cocktails are available at the lobby bar and traditional Romanian cuisine and international dishes are served at Don Quijote restaurant.
In addition, the hotel’s multifunctional meeting space can host up to 300 people, offering natural light and the flexibility to be transformed into a pillarless ballroom.

At the spa, there is a range of treatments, including Turkish Hammam massage. There is a relaxation area, changing rooms and a dry and wet sauna. An indoor pool overlooks the city’s citadel and there is a 24-hour fitness center. Other amenities include free standard WiFi and digital check-in.
