PHILADELPHIA—DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport has opened, located adjacent to Philadelphia International Airport.
Formerly a Hilton hotel, the nine-story, 331-room property remains within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of hotels as it joins the DoubleTree by Hilton brand following a $3-million property-wide renovation that includes updates throughout the hotel’s lobby, guestrooms, restaurant and bar areas, and banquet and meetings areas.
Design elements include earth tones and wood design touches. Each guestroom or suite features a variety of amenities including a flat-screen HDTV, ergonomic desk, coffeemaker and DoubleTree’s signature Sweet Dreams bedding.
Dining options include the Landing Restaurant, Players Sports Bar and Café Express. Other amenities include 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet facilities, a 24-hour Fitness by Precor workout facility, an indoor heated swimming pool, a 24-hour business center, parking and complimentary WiFi access throughout the hotel’s public spaces and guestrooms.
The hotel is owned by Sotherly Hotels and managed by Chesapeake Hospitality.
