SAN ANTONIO, TX—Effective today, USAA Real Estate Company has named Denver-based Destination Hotels & Resorts the management company for the La Cantera Hill Country Resort here.
Located within the La Cantera 1,645-acre master-planned development, La Cantera Hill Country Resort is comprised of 508 rooms, including 38 casitas. Other amenities include the 18-hole championship La Cantera Resort Course and the 18-hole Palmer Course.
USAA Real Estate Company is the master developer and owner of La Cantera. The repositioning of the resort comes at a time when the company has two other projects at La Cantera in various stages of development, including The Residences at La Cantera, a 322-unit luxury residential project located adjacent to The Shops at La Cantera which is currently in lease-up, and the recently-announced 128,700-sq.-ft. West Ridge, a new master-planned office project that is expected to break ground in the near future.
