DENVER—Andrew Arthurs has been tapped as SVP and chief information officer for Destination Hotels and Lowe Enterprises.

Arthurs joins the Destination Hotels executive team with more than 15 years of technology experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he held the role of senior director of IT for Vail Resorts in Broomfield, CO. During his time with Vail Resorts, Arthurs was responsible for technology enablement for the hospitality and transportation divisions. Within his role, he led strategic business transformation initiatives for vacation rentals and contact centers.

“We are confident that Andrew will be integral to the continued growth of our 40-plus-year-old business division,” said Jamie Sabatier, president and COO of Destination Hotels. “We are proud to welcome this well-versed management veteran to Destination Hotels executive team.”

When he started with Vail Resorts, Arthurs served as manager of hospitality applications of RockResorts, a collection of luxury properties in resort destinations, from 2003 to 2006. Prior to joining Vail Resorts Arthurs provided technology implementation and consulting services to the hospitality industry.
