ALLEN, TX—A new four-star, full-service Delta by Marriott Hotel and attached convention center will open in late 2018. The project will have 300 guestrooms; 90,000 sq. ft. of meeting and convention space; and 1,000 parking spaces.
Altera Development recently closed on the property, which is located on the northwest corner of U.S. 75 and Bethany Dr. Construction on the $91-million facility will begin this month, and Benchmark Hospitality will operate and market the property.
An upscale restaurant and a destination bar—located adjacent to an outdoor courtyard with swimming pool—are available to guests. Amenities include the Elite Pantry; a fitness center with cardio, weights, yoga and CrossFit; free WiFi; and bottled water available on every floor.
