SAN DIEGO, CA—The Declan Suites, formerly The Sheraton Suites, opened here under new management.
The independent property offers 264 two-room suites and is set to undergo a multimillion-dollar transformation. Referencing technology and music throughout the design concept, the property will take advantage of its location adjacent to San Diego Symphony Hall. Integrating technology, music and aesthetics into an avant-garde concept, the transformation will be a total reconceptualization of the space. The revamp will begin in the spring with the hotel lobby.
Partnering with the design firm Design360unlimited, The Declan team noted planned décor includes a live-feed video wall, a communal technology area, local art and a musically engaging lobby.
The Declan Suites also will offer loaner bikes, providing guests a green alternative to explore the city.
Each guestroom comes with a separate sitting room, many with views of San Diego’s harbor. In addition, the hotel offers a bar, fitness center, complimentary WiFi, business services and a concierge team.
