DUBLIN, OH— A 217-room Crowne Plaza hotel has opened in central Ohio following a $4-million conversion and renovation. The Crowne Plaza Columbus-Dublin is owned by Dublin Metro Hotel LLC and managed by CWB Property Management Inc., under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group. The hotel, which formerly operated as the Clarion Dublin, sits on 11 acres and is situated just off Interstate 270 between Frantz Road and Metro Place North. Enhancements to the hotel’s 13,000 square feet of meeting space included refurbishment of the Grand Dublin Ballroom and a new décor scheme and enhanced lighting in guest corridors. Additionally, the Dublin Metro Bar & Grill now has outside seating and will undergo a change to contemporary décor with plasma screen televisions. Guestrooms were also refreshed and received the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage package which includes new bedding, guaranteed wake-up calls, designated quiet zones, night lights, drape clips, sleep CDs, sleep tips and amenities such as eye masks, ear plugs and lavender spray Additional upgrades taking place in the spring include renovations to the hotel’s main entrance. The hotel offers an indoor pool, a fitness center, a business center and complimentary shuttle service within a five-mile radius. Public areas feature complimentary wireless Internet access.
