QUEBEC CITY—Courtyard by Marriott Quebec City will open here on July 29. Featuring a new lobby space and room design, it is located at 900 des Rocailles. The 160-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by the Lixi Group of Montreal.
Located in the Lebourgneuf district, it is near Old Quebec, Jean-Lesage International Airport, Videotron Center, the ExpoCite’ Centre, Les Galeries de la Capitae Mall & Amusement Park, Stoneham Mountain Resort, Plain of Abraham National Park and Chute-Montmorency Waterfall Park.
Courtyard’s latest room design offers hybrid zones for working, sleeping, relaxing and getting ready. Plus, it has indirect lighting and a neutral, tone-on-tone color palette.
“From day one, Courtyard has prided itself as a brand that listens to business travelers,” said Callette Nielsen, VP and global brand manager, Courtyard. “Today’s technology has changed how people travel. Our guests want a room that has purpose and flexibility that enables a seamless transition between relaxing and working. Courtyard is designed to offer them a relaxing and functional space to work the way they want to, when they want to.”
The lobby also features the restaurant and bar, Le Commisariat, serving up Quebec’s gastronomy.
The nine-story hotel features an indoor swimming pool with windows, a fitness center, an electric-car- charging station and guest laundry. The hotel also offers 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting space as well as a 1,500-sq.-ft. banquet hall.
