NATIONAL REPORT—Red Lion Inn & Suites opened a property in New York, and there’s openings in North Carolina and Florida. Here’s a look at what’s new:

Red Lion Inn & Suites Long Island City

The Red Lion Inn & Suites Long Island City has opened in Long Island City, NY. The recently converted property has 80 guestrooms, complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, free WiFi and an on-site fitness center.

Red Lion Inn & Suites Long Island City is located at 42-24 Crescent St., which is one block from the New York City subway. It is a short distance from LaGuardia Airport via subway and is proximate to local attractions.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront has opened adjacent to the Wilmington Convention Center in Wilmington, NC.

The property has 186 two-room guest suites. All guest suites (except the one-room kings) include a separate sleeping room, bath, living area, minibar, refrigerator, microwave, two flat screen TV monitors, seating, dining table, desk and WiFi internet options. A complimentary made-to-order breakfast and a two-hour manager’s evening reception are available.

Towneplace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport

Towneplace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport has opened, offering 112 studios, one- and two-bedrooms suites, a pool, patio area, lobby, full-service bar and fitness room.

Designed by Moniomi, the interior of the hotel was inspired by the Miami traveler who is in search of water and sun, according to the firm. In the lobby, there are watercolor images that resemble waves, various types of seating and a bar area.
