BETHESDA, MD—The Courtyard by Marriott Xinchang has opened in Xinchang County in the eastern Zhejiang Province of China.
Under a management agreement with Zhejiang NHU Company LTD, the 201-room hotel is the 16th addition to the Courtyard portfolio and the first international hotel in the newly developed business district of Shaoxing city.
The hotel is part of Heyue Plaza, a modern commercial and entertainment complex consisting of high-end offices, a shopping arcade, banks and entertainment facilities.

It is poised to deliver a brand promise shared among 1,000 Courtyard by Marriott hotels worldwide,” said Henry Lee, COO and managing director, Greater China of Marriott International.
The property features 201 guestrooms and suites with a full array of amenities such as a large working area, complementary WiFi, King Koil bed, mini bar, rainforest shower, personal safety box and 42-in. LCD TV with international satellite channels. There is also an onsite fitness center.
Executive rooms or suites offer privileged access to the Executive Lounge, featuring daily breakfast buffet and snacks accompanied by beverages and alcoholic drinks throughout the day.
Pavilion, the hotel’s all-day dining venue, provides international breakfast buffet and an extensive lunch and dinner menus showcasing traditional Cantonese specialties.
In addition, the hotel provides a flexible meeting space, a pillar-less ballroom with LED wall backdrop, as well as five meeting rooms that can accommodate functions of different scales. All venues are equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and complimentary WiFi connection. A dedicated events management team is available.
