RECIFE, BRAZIL—The 162-room Courtyard by Marriott Recife has officially opened here in the northeastern state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The hotel is close to the beach and has convenient access to restaurants, shopping and cultural attractions.
Craig S. Smith, president of the Caribbean and Latin America at Marriott International, said, “With the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott in Recife, the brand now has a portfolio of 24 hotels in 11 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America, and we look forward to receiving more and more Brazilian guests as we expand our footprint in the country in the next few years.”
