NEW YORK HOTELBUSINESS. has learned that the Financial Advisory Services division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, which includes the hospitality and leisure consulting practice, will break away from its parent company this January or February 2001, and form a separate company with a new name. The new company will consist of the entire consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The new corporation will be completely unaffiliated with Pricewaterhouse and Hewlett Packard, which recently acquired the MCS technology division of Pricewaterhouse for $20 million. (9/13/00) Diana M. Rodriguez
