MT. LAUREL, NJ—Construction is underway for a SpringHill Suites by Marriott here. Slated to open in early 2017, the hotel will introduce the brand’s latest design.
The 135 all-suites hotel, owned and operated by High Hotels, is the latest addition to the Laurel Corporate Center, which is home to more than 876,000 sq. ft. of office space. Four new restaurants will also share the hotel site, according to the company.
The property will feature studio suites with dedicated work spaces, a separate seating area with a trundle-style sleeper sofa, flat-screen LCD TV, new bedding, refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the hotel and business center. Other features include a complimentary breakfast buffet, indoor pool, outdoor patio and fire pit, guest lounge, meeting facility and 24-hour fitness center.
“As part of our continued operational success and growth strategy, we’re thrilled to be opening this SpringHill Suites in the Laurel Corporate Center,” said Russ Urban, president of High Hotels. “It showcases Marriott’s latest prototype for the brand, and is the perfect addition to this particular market, which has proven to be extremely popular with corporate and leisure travelers.”
This project marks High Hotels’ 14th hotel in a growing portfolio and its second Marriott brand development in the state. The company also developed the SpringHill Suites in Ewing, NJ and new development projects are planned in the upcoming year.
