ATLANTA— After three consecutive years of declining revenues and profits, conference centers began to recover in 2004 and are now projected by PKF Consulting to strengthen further in 2005. This evaluation of the conference center business was recently released in the 2005 edition of PKF’s “Trends in the Conference Center Industry.” Total revenue for conference centers jumped 7.5% in 2004 and demand rose 4.3%, according to the report. For 2005, a 9% improvement in conference center occupancy is now forecasted.
