Columbia Hospitality Adds VP/Development

SEATTLE— As part of a growth strategy, Columbia Hospitality Inc. has named Greg Duff vice president of development and general counsel. He is responsible for focusing on new management and development opportunities, as well as legal affairs. Previously, Duff was partner and chair of the hospitality, travel and tourism practice group at Cairncross & Hempelmann, a law firm here. He represented clients such as Seattle Hotel Group LLC, which is developing the new Four Seasons Hotel Seattle; Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc.; Marriott International Inc.; the Hyatt Corp.; and other local and regional hospitality industry members. Columbia Hospitality Inc. manages a portfolio of distinctive properties that includes: The Resort at Deer Harbor, The Inn at Langley, Friday Harbor House, Lakedale Resort, Bell Harbor International Conference Center, World Trade Center Seattle, Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center (catering and events only), Harbor Steps Conference Center, Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside, Talaris Conference Center, Pier 30 Event Center and Washington Mutual Leadership Center at Cedarbrook.
