PARIS- The French holiday resort operator, Club Mediterranee, issued a profit warning, stating that its profits could fall short of its $93 million projection, by as much as 10%.
The blame was attributed to various factors, namely the weakness of the Euro, the increasing cost of fuel, and disappointing market conditions. Nevertheless, despite this announcement, Club Med believes it will still yield its best results to date. (9/26/00)
