PLAINFIELD, IL—Cicero’s Development Corp., a general contractor specializing in the hospitality sector, was selected to renovate the Sleep Inn & Suites West Medical Center hotel in Amarillo, TX.
Cicero’s will apply Sleep Inn’s Designed to Dream Property Improvement Plan (PIP) to the hotel’s 65 guestrooms and suites, as well as to its corridors, pool area, lobby and fitness center. The Designed to Dream plan features warm colors, soft lighting, nature-oriented designs and modern furnishings in the lobby, guestrooms and breakfast area, according to Sleep Inn.
Cicero’s is slated to launch the renovation project in mid-September on a compressed timeline with the goal to turn over the hotel on time and on budget in less than two months, according to the company. With the goal of a positive guest experience during the renovation, Cicero’s will use its Renovationomix management system to minimize construction activity during peak hours. Renovationomix is based on Cicero’s experience improving property owner’s ROI on renovation projects by finding ways to increase the property’s revenue potential, decrease overall operating expenses, identify and solve construction roadblocks such as code issues or delivery problems and help maximize the hotel’s cash flow during the renovation.
The property is near the Amarillo Botanical Gardens and the Splash Amarillo water park.
