SILVER SPRING, MD Choice Hotels is offering a new Sixty Plus Rate, which means seniors over the age of 60 can now receive 20% to 30% discounts from participating Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Sleep Inn & Suites, Quality Inns, Clarion Hotels, Mainstay Suites, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn hotels.
Even those locations not offering the new discount still guarantee, every day of the year, a 10% savings for those over age 50. The only caveat is that discounts may not be combined.
In addition, some Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn properties offer Senior Friendly Rooms designed to optimize comfort for older people. These room include brighter lights, lever-handled doors, and large-button phones and alarm clocks. (11/27/00)
