GLENDALE, WI—Chesapeake Hospitality has added the management of the Milwaukee River Inn, located here, to its full-service management portfolio.

The Milwaukee River Inn was most recently operated under the Hilton flag but will immediately begin a complete multimillion dollar renovation before re-introducing itself as a Holiday Inn later this year. The updated property will feature an expanded lobby and a new bar area with river views, an updated ballroom and meeting center, and new bathrooms, carpets and furniture in each of the 161 guestrooms.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this unique hotel’s journey at this critical turning point in its history,” said Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality. “Chesapeake’s experience in turn-around management and proven success in delivering bottom-line results, coupled with the new features of this property and it’s prime location, will write an exciting new chapter that benefits both the local community and business and leisure travelers.”
