Centara Hotels & Resorts Adds New Positions

BANGKOK—Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Paul Wilson as VP of sales, Adrian Hardwick-Jones, VP of design & technical services and Tawicha Trakulyingyong, group director of business process improvement. All three are new positions at the company. 

Wilson joins the Centara team with more than 15 years of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry as a sales, marketing and revenue specialist. Relocating from Australia, Wilson held a dual role as national MICE director and regional sales & marketing director at the Mantra Group, representing more than 120 hotels and resorts. Prior to Mantra Group, Wilson held senior roles at Park Plaza Hotel & Resorts in London and with boutique properties in his native Africa. 

Hardwick-Jones comes to Centara with 24 years of experience in various roles in Asia. Most recently, he was the regional director of design and engineering of IHG South West Asia

Trakulyingyong has extensive experience in business process improvements and IT strategy, project and operation management in various industries, including retail, manufacturing, banking and financial services. Prior to joining Centara, he held leadership roles with multinational companies based in Thailand, the U.K. and the U.S., including Tesco Lotus, Minor International, Charoen Pokphand (CP), IBM Service Delivery and Computer Science Corporation.

 Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels & Resorts, said “I expect that these new executives will make a dramatic difference in how we engineer our future business strategies at Centara.
