ST. AUGUSTINE, FL— The historic Casa Monica Hotel will expand its meetings space next month, opening a new 2,000-square-foot ballroom. The Henry Flagler Ballroom will be divisible into three rooms and will be able to accommodate groups up to 128 persons in a classroom-style setting, up to 206 persons in a theater-style setting and up to 152 persons in a banquet-style setting. With the addition, the 138-room property will now feature more than 12,000-square-feet of event space, including the 4,000-square-foot Casa Monica Ballroom, divisible into three separate rooms with a versatile pre-function area, the San Marcos Boardroom, the Alcazar Room and the 1,200-square-foot Sultan’s Pavilion. “This new space gives our corporate clients, a fabulous alternative meeting space that will provide a more relaxed and creative setting for events and breakout sessions,” said General Manager Marcel Pitton.
