Caronia Named GM At Orlando’s Rosen Centre

ORLANDO, FL—Phil Caronia has been promoted to general manager of the Rosen Centre here. He most recently served as the hotel’s director of convention services and catering. Caronia joined the 1,334-room Rosen Centre more than 11 years ago as assistant director of convention services and catering. He was promoted to director in 1998. As general manager, Caronia will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations including the completion of the multi-million dollar renovation of meeting space. Prior to joining the Rosen hotel group in 1995, Caronia, held various positions at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, Marriott Hotels and ITT Sheraton.
