MINNEAPOLIS—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group appointed Jeffrey Freund, SVP, midscale brands, Americas. He reports to Javier Rosenberg, COO, Americas.
Freund has served Carlson Rezidor in a number of positions throughout his career, including general manager roles in the United States and abroad. In 2005, he was promoted to director of operations, and has served as VP, operations, owned and managed hotels, since 2008.
Freund will assume the role of brand and operational leader in the Americas for Country Inns & Suites by Carlson and Park Inn by Radisson. In this role, Freund will oversee franchise field support, guest satisfaction, brand standards and product and service quality. His key priorities will also include accelerating the growth of Country Inns & Suites and supporting the development of the globally successful Park Inn by Radisson brand in the Americas.
