DHAHRAN, SAUDI ARABIA—Carlson Rezidor has recently opened Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhahran, based here, further expanding its portfolio throughout the Kingdom.
According to the company, the 74-suite Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhahran is Carlson Rezidor’s first property in Dhahran, and will start welcoming guests by mid-June. The hotel is less than an hour from King Fahad International Airport and the Mall of Dhahran.
“Saudi Arabia is an important growth market for Carlson Rezidor because of its strategic location in the Middle East,” said Wolfgang M. Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor. “With a rapidly growing population of nearly 30 million people, the Kingdom is the Gulf’s largest Arab country with a gross domestic product of more than SAR 2.5 trillion (EUR 500 billion), making it a highly lucrative market for the growth of our regional footprint. With the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhahran, our portfolio rises to 18 hotels and 3,300 rooms in operation and under development, serving as a springboard for future developments in the area.”
Other amenities featured at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, spa and fitness center. Two fully equipped meeting rooms are available for a wide variety of events and social gatherings, and a lobby cafe and an all-day restaurant offer dining options, the company added.
