MINNEAPOLIS, MN- Eric Danziger, president of Carlson Hotels Worldwide, has announced key management appointments to oversee the growth of the Park Plaza and Park Inn brands.
Overseeing the Park Hospitality executive team is Executive Vice President Jetse Pottinga, a lodging industry veteran with more than 20 years of senior level management experience. He is responsible for the overall management and expansion of the Park Plaza and Park Inn brands domestically. Working with Pottinga will be Thomas Griffiths, vice president of marketing-sales. Another industry expert with 19 years of sales and marketing experience.
Joining Park Hospitality from Olympus Hospitality Group, Brad Mooney will continue in his role as director of franchise services. He is responsible for quality assurance audits of the Park Plaza and Park Inn properties, as well as training, franchise development, purchasing, guest services and initial hotel orientation.
This announcement follows the recently formed Park Hospitality joint venture between Carlson and Scottsdale, Arizona-based Olympus Hospitality Group to strategically grow the two international brands. (9/15/00)
