HONG KONG- As part of an ongoing consolidation process, Carlson Hospitality Worldwide has closed the Hong Kong office of Regent International Hotels. Acquiring the five-star luxury brand in November 1997, Carlson previously relocated Regents head office functions- with the exception of corporate directors of marketing and public relations, and a support staff member- to its corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. Those staff positions are now being handled out of Minneapolis. (8/29/00)
