Groundbreaking for the Cambria Hotel Savannah Historic District

ROCKVILLE, MD—Choice Hotels International Inc., in collaboration with HOS Management, broke ground at the future home of the Cambria Hotel Savannah Historic District in Savannah, GA. Located at 321 Montgomery St., the 103-room, six-story property is slated to open in 2019.

Among the planned features are a rooftop bar, locally inspired interior and exterior designs, local art, multifunction meeting space, a business center and fitness center. There also will be contemporary on-site dining, serving a menu comprising area specialties, signature cocktails and local craft beers, as well as grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches.

“The Cambria Hotel Savannah Historic District will be the first Cambria hotel in my home state of Georgia, and I cannot think of a better city to introduce the brand than in Savannah. Full of rich history and culture, Savannah attracts millions of business and leisure travelers each year, and the Cambria hotel groundbreaking helps us plant our legacy in the epicenter of it all,” said Janis Cannon, SVP, upscale brands at Choice Hotels. “HOS Management has a deep understanding of Savannah, and we’re thrilled to team up with them and enter this important and growing market by providing guests with a uniquely local upscale experience.”

HOS Management is a second-generation hospitality and development group with more than 30 years of industry experience in the city.
