RALEIGH, NC—Bulk TV & Internet (Bulk TV) has completed a complimentary TV upgrade for its first customer, Americas Best Value Inn Princess Anne (ABVI).

Located in Maryland near St Mary’s College, ABVI Princess Anne was the first property to install a Bulk TV satellite headend system during the company’s first year of business. More than 10 years later, Bulk TV has grown to more than 4,000 customers nationally, and is coming off its seventh consecutive year as being named DIRECTV Lodging & Institutions Provider of the Year. The owners credit the loyalty of customers like ABVI Princess Anne as a driving factor of the company’s success.

Because of that, Bulk TV recently deployed a complimentary upgrade of the customer’s TV system to the state-of-the-art DIRECTV Residential Experience (DRE), which offers guests more than 100 HD channels and an interactive programming guide. Along with a top-of-the-line HD system, Bulk TV has also given ABVI Princess Anne free TV programming service for the next 12 months.

In addition to a full residential channel lineup and an interactive guide, the DIRECTV Residential Experience features easy search functionality, a cobranded user interface and an anti-microbial, simplified remote, according to the company.

In the coming year, Bulk TV plans to increase its customer base by more than 100,000 rooms.
