ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has been accepted as the newest member of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI). The resort is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International, which acquired the resort in August.

The addition to ALHI’s portfolio further expands the longstanding relationship ALHI has with providing its Global Sales Organization (GSO) sales services across America and Canada to the MGM Resorts International family of resorts over the past 15 years.

The 2,800-room resort is ALHI’s first and only member hotel in New Jersey. Located in the city’s Marina District, the resort also includes the The Water Club Hotel at Borgata. The ALHI Global Sales Organization to the North American Meetings & Incentives marketplace now serves the resort, according to ALHI President Jim Schultenover.

The ALHI portfolio also features MGM Resorts International’s Bellagio; MGM Grand Las Vegas; Skylofts at MGM Grand, located on the top two floors of MGM Grand; The Signature at MGM Grand; Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino; Delano Las Vegas; The Mirage; and Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.

ALHI is a membership-based, dues-funded Global Sales Organization, providing GSO sales services throughout the U.S. and Canada at no cost to the accounts, while providing local connectivity, market intelligence and account advocacy.
