BANGKOK, THAILAND—Best Western International, Inc. is planning to open its first hotel in North Bangkok, the Best Western Plus Wanda Grand Hotel, during the fourth quarter of 2015.
Accommodations include 183 guestrooms and suites ranging from superior to two-bedroom suites. All rooms will come equipped with a selection of upgraded amenities, including flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, minibars and complimentary WiFi. The hotel plans to offer a Thai and international cuisines all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, swimming pool and fitness center. For the corporate and events markets, the new hotel provides eight function rooms, including a 10,900-sq.-ft. banquet hall.
The new hotel will be situated near the Central Chaeng Wattana shopping mall, IMPACT Mueang Thong Thani exhibition center, Thai government complex at Chaeng Wattana and the World Medical Center. In addition, the hotel will be accessible to the city’s network of freeways and two international airports.
Best Western Asia first launched in Bangkok in 2001 and now covers 15 countries in the region, with more than 100 hotels either operating or in the pipeline.
