BEDFORD SPRINGS, PA—Bedford Springs Resort, a national historic landmark within 2,200 acres in Pennsylvania’s Southern Allegheny Mountains, is undergoing a $108-million restoration and expansion and is slated to reopen in June. The resort now touts a restored 18-hole golf course, a 30,000-square-foot destination spa designed around the location’s seven natural springs, and an indoor pool. As a conference facility, the resort now offers 20,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, including the historically restored grand ballroom that accommodates up to 300 persons; 16 soundproof, climate-controlled meeting rooms and 10 breakout rooms with spaces ranging from 768 to 5,550 square feet; an executive boardroom that accommodates up to 18 persons; and five additional suites located in the hotel’s new wing are available for entertaining Owned by Bedford Resort Partners Ltd. and managed by Benchmark Hospitality International, the resort’s hotel is attached to the conference center.
