MIAMI- Bass Hotels & Resorts named Gil Katzman to the dual role of regional director of sales and marketing Southeast/Caribbean, and director of marketing for the Hotel Inter-Continental Miami. Katzman will oversee the marketing aspect of Bass company-owned and managed upscale properties from Hilton Head, SC to Puerto Rico, which encompasses 10 hotels under the Inter-Continental and Crowne Plaza brands. He will also serve as director of marketing of the newly renovated Hotel Inter-Continental Miami, and will be responsible for all aspects of marketing the 639-room hotel. Katzman was most recently director/sales at Miami Beachs Fontainebleau Hilton Resort. (11/14/00)
