CAREFREE, AZ— The Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa here has named James Barrett as its new executive chef. Barrett will implement new menus in Latilla, the resort’s signature fine dining restaurant, and will also oversee culinary operations at The Boulders’ six additional restaurants. Prior to joining the Boulders, Barrett was executive chef of the Bristol Hotel in Washington. Part of the Wyndham Luxury Resorts collection, the Boulders offers 160 guest casitas and 55 villas; a 33,000-sf Golden Door Spa; eight tennis courts; and two 18-hole golf courses. Wyndham Luxury Resorts are owned and managed by Dallas-based Wyndham International, Inc.
