Atlantica Hotels Opens Brazil Resort, Adds New Choice Logos

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL— Atlantica Hotels International has opened the Quality Resort Lins, representing the company’s 10th property in Brazil. Located 180 miles west of São Paulo, the $7.4 million Quality Resort Lins features 114 rooms, a lobby bar, pool, coffee shop, and meeting facilities that can accommodate up to1,000 people. Three days after opening, the resort achieved 100% occupancy. In addition, Atlantica Hotels International will become the first of Choice Hotels’ international partners to hang the company’s new signage (for the Quality, Comfort Suites and Sleep brands) outside of the United States. International re-imaging will begin on June 19, 2001 at the Comfort Suites Oscar Friere in São Paulo, a 204-suite hotel opening July 15, 2001.
