MOUNT PLEASANT, IA—AmericInn has signed a new hotel here. This is the fifth AmericInn of the Des Moines-based hoteliers Bhupen Patel and Kalpesh Patel. The property will be managed by VKB Management.
AmericInn Hotel and Suites Mount Pleasant is a 62-room conversion. The property will undergo extensive renovation to its guestrooms, guest bathrooms and public areas. Once completed, the property will feature signature AmericInn hospitality concepts and services, including an indoor pool and fitness center.
The property is located on the intersection of Highway 218 and Highway 34. Located nearby are Iowa Wesleyan University, Midwest Old Threshers Heritage Museum and the Harlan- Lincoln House.
The hotel will offer its signature AmericInn Perk breakfast featuring a variety of hot, home-style breakfast selections along with a 24-hour coffee bar. Additional AmericInn offerings include Serta Perfect Sleeper beds and the Easy Rewards guest loyalty program.
Recently, AmericInn has signed new properties in Waupun, WI; Hawley, MN; Fargo South, ND; Hartford, SD; Black River Falls, WI; Delafield, WI; and Sibley, IA.
