Dewitt, IA—AmericInn has broken ground on the construction of a new hotel here. The three-story, 47-room hotel is being developed by Apollo Development on behalf of a group of local investors. The hotel will be constructed by Truline Construction and managed by Three Rivers Hospitality, a sister company to AmericInn.

Utilizing AmericInn’s newest Generation-4 prototype design, the new hotel will feature a pub, refreshment bar, swimming pool, Whirlpool, fitness room and hotel-wide internet access. The hotel will also offer the free AmericInn Perk breakfast featuring a variety of hot, homestyle breakfast selections along with a 24-hour coffee bar.

“We are very pleased to announce another addition to the growing AmericInn system which now includes over 200 locations in 24 states,” said Paul Kirwin, president and CEO of AmericInn. “We look forward to serving our customers at this prime Iowa location with the distinctive AmericInn hospitality experience that is comfortable, friendly and relaxing.”

The AmericInn Dewitt will be located in the Northeast quadrant of Highway 61 and Highway 30. The brand recently added new properties in Fargo South, ND; Hartford, SD; Black River Falls, WI; Sibley, IA; Fulton, IL; Streator, IL; Delafield, WI and Mount Pleasant, IA.
