Alpha Hospitality Sues Park Place

NEW YORK- Alpha Hospitality Corp. announced that Mohawk Management, the entity that has been pursuing development of a New York casino property for the company, has joined with Catskill Development in a suit filed against Park Place Entertainment.


The suit, which is captioned Catskill Development, Mohawk Management and Monticello Raceway Development Co. versus Park Place Entertainment Corp., was filed on Monday November 13 in the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York.


The suit alleges that the plaintiffs are entitles to damages, of a substantial amount, as a consequence of Park Places purported interference with the plaintiffs Monticello, New York Native American casino project. (11/15/00)
