PHILADELPHIA—Aimbridge Hospitality has assumed management of the Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia/Fort Washington located here.

The 146-room North Philadelphia hotel features a 24-hour business center, complimentary wireless Internet throughout the hotel, a fitness center and pool, more than 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, and is home to The Garden Grille and Bar, The Great American Grill and The Pavilion Lounge.

The Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia/Fort Washington represents the third Hilton Garden Inn property and the 33rd Hilton Hotels and Resorts property in Aimbridge Hospitality’s portfolio.

“We are pleased to have been selected by the new owner, Laurus Corporation, and about the opportunity to expand our relationship with Hilton Hotels and Resorts and add an additional Hilton Garden Inn property to our portfolio,” stated Dave Johnson, president and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality.

“This hotel is an opportunity to add a well-located institutional quality asset in one of the nation’s premier business parks to our portfolio,” stated Austin Khan, CIO of Laurus Corporation.  “Aimbridge’s experience will be a great asset in executing our business plan as we continue our focus on maximizing the value of the property as the market recovery continues.”

Under new management and ownership, the Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia/Fort Washington will undergo renovations to the soft goods in guestrooms.
