Adler Named President Of Loews

NEW YORK Loews Hotels has announced the promotion of Jack Adler to the position of president, where he will oversee all of the operations of Loews Hotels including finance, development, marketing and administration. Adler will also continue to hold the title of COO. Jonathan Tisch, who previously held the title of president/CEO of Loews Hotels, will now become Chairman/CEO. Adler joined Loews Hotels in 1989 as svp/finance and administration, and was promoted to COO in 1998. During his tenure, Adler has been responsible for spearheading the largest expansion in the chains 54-year history. He has overseen more than $1 billion of development of new hotels in Miami Beach, Orlando, and Philadelphia. (12/11/00)
