NEW YORK—PressReader and Accor have partnered to provide hotel guests worldwide with a digital newspaper and magazine service called Accor Press.
PressReader worked with Accor to develop hotel features into the Accor Press offer, which provides access to more than 3,000 magazines and newspapers.
“In partnership with PressReader, Accor has introduced a new way to read press,” stated David Esseryk, VP of consumer technologies at Accor. “Access to press content is particularly relevant when traveling away from home, and is among the many services that are valuable to our customers. We have identified a solution to provide a wide press offering in our hotels that is part of our strategy to make staying in our hotels significantly more attractive, while differentiating from our competitors. Accor Press also takes into account the need of international travelers to stay in touch with their home geography.”
PressReader’s website and mobile app are available in hundreds of thousands of hotel rooms globally, and the Accor partnership increases PressReader’s reach to almost one million hotel rooms.
Accor operates on all continents in hotel segments ranging from luxury to budget. The hotel chain spans 92 countries, spread across 3,500 hotels.
