PARIS- Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, the upscale brand of Accor, opened its 140th hotel, the Sofitel Paris La Defense Grande Arche. The 384-room hotel is thirty minutes from the Roissy Charles-De-Gaulle and Orly Airports.
The $66 million construction of the Sofitel was overseen by French architect Marie Parente. The 22-story hotel features a 2-story lobby area, a 100-seat restaurant, a 35-seat bar, and a conference center. (10/23/00)
