LOS ANGELES—Associated Luxury Hotels International has promoted Amber Voelker to regional VP of sales for the U.S. West region.
In her new position, she is responsible for leading ALHI’s global sales team in the West region of the U.S. in serving meeting professionals, association executives, incentive travel specialists, business executives and convention specialists with ALHI’s Global Sales Organization services and support for its portfolio of more than 250 luxury-level hotels and resorts worldwide.
Voelker joined ALHI in 2015 as regional director of sales before her internal promotion, and is based in ALHI’s Global Sales office in Los Angeles. She reports to ALHI Division VP Chris Riccardi. Prior to her promotion, she served as regional director of sales for ALHI’s West region. She joined ALHI from The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, CA, which is a longtime ALHI member hotel, where she served for nearly 12 years.
“She is genuine and really does an outstanding job, with tremendous dedication, talent and great sales and leadership skills. Plus, she is a very valuable advocate for ALHI clients in the region, and for our distinguished worldwide portfolio of member hotels, resorts and alliance members. This promotion also enables our division VP Chris Riccardi to lead our international strategy to further address the needs of our valued clients,” said Jim Schultenover, ALHI president.
