MIAMI—IHG has opened the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bogota Zona Financiera.
The new-build, 99-room hotel is a LEED Gold-certified property and is located in Bogota’s financial district, 15 miles from El Dorado International Airport. Nearby destinations include local businesses, embassies, various multinational companies such as Baker Hughes, Cisco System, World Bank and Microsoft, and the G Zone, an exclusive area in northern Bogota home to gourmet restaurants.
The hotel is part of a mixed-use development comprised of two towers, one of which houses the hotel and a second offices and retail stores.
Amenities include an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary high-speed Internet access, a business center, meeting spaces for up to 200 people and complimentary parking. The complimentary Express Start breakfast bar features a full range of breakfast items, including regional and local dishes, a rotation of egg and meat selections, breads, yogurt, juices, fruit, pastries, cereals and coffee.
Owned and managed by Grupo Contempo S.A, the hotel is franchised by an affiliate of IHG. This hotel is the second project to open with Grupo Contempo, which has two more properties in the pipeline in the cities of Barranquilla and Cartagena.
The new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bogota Zona Financiera hotel is the fifth IHG-brand hotel in Bogota.
