WESTPORT, CT—Hay Creek Hotels has been selected to manage the new Canandaigua Finger Lakes Resort and Spa.
Expected to open in the spring of 2015, the resort will consist of 111 guestrooms and suites, as well as 47 luxury waterfront condominiums. The property is located in the heart of Canandaigua, NY on 5.5 acres of land that overlooks the north shore of Canandaigua Lake.
The resort will feature a destination waterfront restaurant and patio, 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting facilities, a spaand fitness center, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. The guestrooms, restaurant and meeting facilities will have views of Canandaigua Lake.
In addition, the resort will offer public docks for guests and for those visiting the restaurant and outdoor bar by boat. To that end, the resort owns and operates the “Canandaigua Lady,” a 19th-century replica double deck paddle wheel steamboat, that will offer cruises for tourists and guests as well as special private events.

According to MacLeod, the resort will be a careful blend of contemporary and lodge-style design with accents in keeping with Canandaigua’s rich cultural history, with future plans to include culinary and wine seminars for guests.
